To My Kindred
I know everyone has been waiting
for the arrival of my new album "Hieroglyphicz".
Honesty, since I'm also a
producer & engineer,
I decided to temporarily put
my project on the shelf
for the past 9 months so that
I can focus on helping
other talented artists all around the world get to the next level in their careers. The good news is, I finally found time to get in the zone,
hit the studio & put the finishing touches on my project. During this time, I went through life's roller coaster
highs & lows, peeks & valleys, evolving
& gaining new perspectives of my reality. Alot of those moments were translated into my music as I express my point of view & share my experiences at this point in time & history. Now, after all the long long nights dedicated to geting this shit done so I can share it with the world...

The Cover Art
In the background, those are the
Pyramids of Giza which is said
to be aligned with consolations
in the sky of Orion's Belt.
Throughout the whole cover art
are hieroglyphs mostly from the
reign of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III
from Egypt's 18th Dynasty which was
a period of unprecedented prosperity
and artistic splendour, when Egypt
reached the peak of its artistic and
international power. I chose the album's name to be "Hieroglyphicz" because for me, the symbols & the ancient history
reminiscent within the writings is the
metaphor for standing the test of time
or for being well regarded for millenniums. I associate that with the songs that are on this album because that's what my Toreador Dyna$ty
music group is all about.
